“Family Year Talks” Held

Çankırı Karatekin University hosted another important event as part of the 2025 Year of the Family. The “Family Year Talks,” organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, the Research and Application Center for Women and Family Studies, and the Social Contribution Coordination Office, with the participation of our Center`s Deputy Director, Associate Professor Meryem Cihangir, took place on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Taş Mescit.

Three different topics were discussed during the program:

“Distribution of Inheritance in the Event of the Death of a Spouse” – Dr. Cemal Dursun, Assistant Professor

“Being a ‘Mother’ in the Workplace” – Dr. Duygu Çelebi Demir, Assistant Professor

“The Security of Family Members in Islamic Law” – Dr. Meryem Cihangir, Assistant Professor
