On November 4, 2025, our Center actively participated in the planning meeting organized by the Çankırı Provincial Social Services Directorate within the scope of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25. At the meeting, awareness-raising activities to be carried out in the provincial center throughout November, inter-institutional cooperation efforts, and activities aimed at raising social awareness were discussed in detail to highlight the significance and importance of the day. It was emphasized that an effective, sustainable, and holistic approach must be adopted in the fight against violence against women.
On behalf of the ÇAKÜ Women and Family Studies Application and Research Center, Center Director Dr. Hatice Polat and Board Member Research Assistant Esma Nur Halıcı attended the meeting. Our representatives contributed to the meeting by sharing their views and suggestions on initiatives supporting university-public sector collaboration aimed at empowering women.
