The “Maarif Model Family Conferences,” organized by the Center for Women’s and Family Studies Research and Application at Çankırı Karatekin University and the Çankırı Provincial Directorate of National Education, continue with events held at various schools as part of the 2025–2026 academic year. The program aims to strengthen family structures, support values education, and raise social awareness.

Within this framework, a seminar titled “Family Unity” was held on May 14 at Hilmi Bıyıklı Elementary School by Dr. Hatice Polat, an assistant professor from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at our university. The seminar addressed the importance of family solidarity, healthy communication methods, and the decisive role of the family environment in children’s personality development. The program, which was followed with great interest by the participants, concluded after a question-and-answer session.
