Various educational activities continue to be carried out as part of the “Maarif Model Family Conferences,” which are being held throughout the 2025–2026 academic year in collaboration between the Center for Applied Research in Women’s and Family Studies at Çankırı Karatekin University and the Çankırı Provincial Directorate of National Education.

As part of this initiative, Dr. Hatice Polat, an assistant professor from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at our university, delivered a seminar titled “Family Unity” at Mehmetçik Middle School on May 7. The seminar drew significant interest from both teachers and parents, and the program focused on strengthening family communication, preserving a values-based family structure, and the importance of family unity in children’s healthy development.
