Dr. Nazım Çetin, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Çankırı Karatekin University, conducted a seminar on “mutual aid” for parents at Muazzez Servet Amaratoğlu Middle School as part of the Maarif Model Family Conferences.
During the seminar, Dr. Çetin highlighted the importance of a culture of mutual aid and solidarity in the lives of individuals and society, noting that instilling this awareness within the family plays a significant role in children’s social development. Emphasizing that mutual aid should be addressed not only in its material but also in its spiritual dimensions, Çetin stated that empathy, sharing, and a sense of responsibility are fundamental elements in this process.
Highlighting the importance of parents modeling exemplary behavior for their children, Çetin stated that instilling a sense of mutual aid from a young age contributes to raising more sensitive and conscious individuals. He added that mutual aid and solidarity are indispensable values in strengthening social bonds today. The program concluded after the parents’ questions were answered.
