Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslan Çıtır, a faculty member at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Çankırı Karatekin University, conducted a seminar on the topic of “responsibility” for parents at Muazzez Servet Amaratoğlu Middle School as part of the Maarif Model Family Conferences.
During the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çıtır emphasized the importance of instilling a sense of responsibility within the family and highlighted the decisive role of parental attitudes in children’s personality development. He noted that fostering a sense of responsibility at an early age contributes to a healthier and more balanced development in both the individual’s academic and social life.
Highlighting the importance of parents serving as role models for their children, Çıtır stressed that responsibility education must be supported not only by verbal encouragement but also through actions. She noted that the social and cultural changes encountered in today’s world have made family communication and the sharing of responsibilities even more crucial. The program concluded after the parents’ questions were answered.
