The Twelfth Maarif Model Family Conference Was Held at Yunus Emre Middle School

As part of the activities of the Center for Women and Family Studies, a seminar for parents was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Yüksel, a faculty member of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.

The seminar, organized at Yunus Emre Middle School as part of the Maarif Model Family Conferences, addressed the topics of “responsibility and privacy.” The program focused on strengthening family communication, protecting children’s personal boundaries, and the importance of privacy awareness in the digital age.

In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Yüksel emphasized that families play a crucial guiding role in helping children develop a healthy personality. Highlighting the need to instill a sense of responsibility at an early age, Yüksel noted that privacy education must be addressed with meticulous care in both physical and digital spheres. The seminar concluded with a Q&A session where parents’ questions were answered and ideas were exchanged.
